The Exceptional Edutainment Theme World
Introduction
The vision to create a life-size model of Noah's Ark is the inspiration of Reverend S. Clifton Byrd, of San Antonio, Texas. Since 1968, Rev. Byrd, Chairman of Holy Land of the Americas, Inc., a tax-exempt, 501c3 non-profit organization and owner of Bible World, has sought to make this dream a reality. Says Rev. Byrd, "The goal of this project is to educate and to provide Noah's descendants with the historical guidelines for wholesome Christian living.
Descendants of Noah
A simple Biblical truth prevails. We are all descendants of Noah and his family. We are all cousins, related by blood to those eight survivors of the Great Flood that took place almost 5,000 years ago! Imagine what the world would be like if people understood God's eternal love for humanity.
Since the beginning of time, humankind has had an innate need to celebrate the God-given beauty of life here on Earth. Throughout the world, great monuments have been constructed as testimonials of our Creator's infinite goodness. Each monument began with a vision and promise. The story of Noah and the Ark he and his family built, is one of those everlasting achievements. The discovery of Noah's Ark on Mt. Ararat in Eastern Turkey gives credence to one man's faith.
A Tribute
Holy Land of the Americas, Inc., plans to construct a full-sized memorial of Noah's Ark by. It will be a completely functional living tribute. The replica will be built according to the specifications set forth in the Bible, 450 feet long, 45 feet high, and 75 feet wide.
Inside Noah's Ark Memorial will feature four levels offering diverse sights and services, such as Noah's Museum, Bible World Christian University, a chapel, a Christian performing arts auditorium, a mini-shopping center, conference rooms, and much more.
Back to Basic with God
Noah's Ark Memorial and other Bible World future developments on the acquired 78 acres of land, located in San Antonio, Texas is a "Back to Basics with God" initiative. Part of this endeavor involves the installation of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved system, such as Jacob's Well, surface water collection and filtration, rainwater harvesting, independent sewerage, independent power generated by renewable sources of energy, as well as the cultivation of the Garden of Eden, edible foods landscaping, and other Biblical themes.
Bible World Noah's Ark® Memorial will be a full-sized, environmentally sound and cost effective structure, founded on the same principles of faith the led Noah and his family to partake in "God's plan to heal our land". II Chronicles 7:14
