1. Windows XP Professional - Number 1 rated! Stable and fast. When you install DO NOT UPGRADE. Install new using NTFS file system. Minimum CPU I recommend is 750 mghz P3 or P4 with 256 megs ram.

   
2. Windows XP Home. Super. Next generation after Windows 2000 and NT. Less networking choices than Pro. When you install DO NOT UPGRADE. Install new using NTFS file system. Minimum CPU I recommend is 750 mghz P3 or P4 with 256 megs ram.

   
3. Windows 2000. Very Good. Next generation after NT. When you install DO NOT UPGRADE. Install w/NTFS file system.
   
4. Windows 98  2nd Edition. Good. Minimum for USB connectivity. Uses old FAT32 file system. Not as stable as NT based file systems. Not best choice for business.  
   

Not Recommended: Windows ME, Windows 98 pre 2nd edition.
